This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

If youβve never tried Uzbek cuisine before, this is your sign to do so! Every dish was heart warming and comforting. Must haves- Uzbek pilaf with lamb, manti (uzbeki dumplings), lamb chops, beef samsa! 10/10

Khachapuri was fantastic: warm and fresh from the cooker, cheesy and so tasty. The egg on top was terrific. My dish was salmon kebabs, the salmon was a little dry but the veggies were just right. There was some confusion about the sides that were available to be chosen from, which was different than the menu, but the oven roasted potatoes that I chose in the end were delicious - even as leftovers! My companion's entree was the national beef dish of Uzbek - plov. It was very tasty but wished there was more beef. The music was a little loud for normal conversation. I wanted to love this place but instead I just like this place. However, I'll be back to try a few more dishes.

Silk Road is truly a one-of-a-kind, family-owned treasure! I have been coming here with my family and friends for a long time, and it is a real treat that we always look forward to. This was easily some of the best authentic Uzbek cuisine Iβve ever had.We started with the lamb samosas, which were incredibly juicy and mouth-watering, and the Khachapuri was the perfect cheesy addition to the meal. For the mains, the lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the Uzbeki Pilaf was packed with rich, authentic flavor. We finished with the honey cake, which was the perfect sweet ending to an "out of this world" meal.I brought my American friend this time, and she loved it so much she is already planning to bring her own family and friends back! The service was top-notchβfriendly, attentive, and welcoming. If youβre looking for a unique dining experience in Cary with amazing food and a warm atmosphere, this is the place!

Incredible first experience with Uzbek food. We ordered the manti (dumplings), Markovcha carrot salad, spicy fried lagman, and mini skewers. Everything was delicious and made with care. We came close to closing on a weeknight and the quality was still excellent, which says a lot. Sweet, attentive service too. One of the few late-night options in Cary that truly delivers. Canβt wait to come back!

Amazing food! We had the tamchi samsas and the beef was so flavorful and juicy. The plov was so good. The lamb fell apart so tender and the flavor was so delicious. The honey cake was 10/10 and had a light cinnamon flavor and perfect sweetness. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
